Clipstar (“Clipstar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a creator marketplace and campaign platform that connects brands and advertisers with creators who publish short-form and social video content. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit clipstar.ca, create an account, connect social platforms, submit content, or otherwise use our services (the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Depending on how you use Clipstar, we may collect:
- Name and account profile details
- Email address
- Username and display identifiers
- Connected social media accounts and related account identifiers
- Public social media metrics (such as views and related performance data)
- Submitted content, including video URLs, notes, and campaign submissions
- Payment information needed to operate payouts
- PayPal email addresses
- Crypto wallet addresses
- Analytics data about how the Services are used
- Device and browser information
- Login information and authentication records

- Usage data, including pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps
3. Connected social media accounts
Clipstar may connect to supported platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms we support over time.
Users explicitly authorize Clipstar before any social account is connected. Where a platform requires OAuth or similar consent, we only access account information and metrics after you grant that authorization. You may disconnect connected accounts at any time through your account settings (where available) or by contacting us.
Public metrics are only retrieved with your authorization where required by the platform or applicable law. We use those metrics to verify submissions, calculate eligible views, prevent abuse, and operate campaigns.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Verify creator submissions
- Prevent duplicate submissions
- Detect fraud and platform abuse
- Calculate payouts
- Process payments
- Display analytics to creators, advertisers, and administrators
- Improve the platform and develop new features
- Communicate with users about campaigns, account activity, and support
- Meet legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations
5. Sharing of information
Clipstar does not sell users’ personal information.
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Services (for example hosting, authentication, analytics, payment processors, and platform APIs), with campaign counterparties when needed to run a campaign, or when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Clipstar, our users, or others.
6. Security
Data is protected using industry-standard security practices appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International users
Clipstar is operated from Canada. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be processed in Canada or other locations where we or our providers operate.
